Tiny-Tim.

Sometimes in life the smallest things can capture the hearts of millions. That's what happened with this little dog, Tiny Tim. A pup who had everything against him, a dog  most people would pass up. A pup that would have never made it as far as he did, or was loved as much as he was if not his forever family.

We get wrapped up in what we think are the big things the important things and we often miss the little things, the special things, the things that we get emotional over and tug at our hearts. In our world of instant gratification and text messaging, YouTube’s and Twitter; it’s the fuzziness of a pet, the warm lick on your face on a lazy day, that remind us the simplest things still mean more than all the virtual friends in the world.

As a writer sometimes I forget that that, but ever since Lisa brought this story to my attention, and her constant updates to me, I simply fell in love with this little guy. Since we have two dogs, and one is a special needs dog, the enormity of what Tiny Tim’s family had to endure boggles my mind. So our family, Lisa and I, Jackson and Gearo all carry a place in our hearts for Tiny Tim.

I am re-posting the message his forever family posted on their face book page and the link. I know this puppy will be waiting on the other side patiently for his forever family. And that is all we can hope for, the little things. The wagging tails and wet sloppy licks are waiting for us in the great beyond.

"It is with a Broken heart i have to share the sad news tonight.

Many of you have called Tiny Tim a little angel. Today our little angel got his wings. Although the medical team did an excellent job of repairing his cleft palate, his little heart could not handle the stress.. He was surrounded by love when he left this world and I know that my daughter welcomed him into heaven with open arms.

We took a risk on this surgery but it was a necessary one. After four years of fighting for his life, we had come to the point that it was his ONLY option. And YOUR love gave tiny the chance!!!.

Our world is forever changed. Tiny Tim was the light in my darkest days and was a beacon of hope to many people out there. His physical body may not be here any longer but his legacy of faith, endurance and so much love is here for all of us to live by daily.

In many ways, his mission had just begun as we will furever continue to use his page to spread the news about babies like him, the ones no one wants, because every life deserves a chance!!! His life was short but it was purposeful, please never forget that!

Please know that we are incredibly grateful to all of you for the prayers and support you have given us . We will be returning home when our baby boy is back in our loving hands and we will return home to Florida with him. Tiny Tim was our child and we are devastated to lose him so we ask that you give us a chance to mourn.

We will pick a date and we can all light a candle for Tiny Tim so he can see our love shining all the way to heaven.

I can NEVER EVER thank you ALL for loving us and believing in our baby. We have found the most beautiful blessing ever, our FB family!! Tiny's Blessings will always assist in saving others and share LOVE to ALL!!!!
